We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to manage our Facebook and Instagram platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these social media channels, a knack for content creation, and a passion for engaging with online communities. You will play a key role in driving our brand's online presence, increasing engagement, and enhancing our digital marketing efforts.

Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in managing Facebook and Instagram accounts for a brand or business.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools
  • Strong understanding of Facebook and Instagram algorithms, analytics, and ad platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for Facebook and Instagram, including posts, stories, reels, and videos.
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies that align with business goals.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media campaigns. Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our platforms remain current and competitive.
  • Brand Advocacy: Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Crisis Management: Handle any social media crises professionally and promptly, maintaining the brand’s reputation.
