Details
We seek an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain our company's Linux systems. As a Senior Linux Administrator, you will ensure our Linux-based infrastructure's stability, security, and performance. You will work closely with the development, networking, and security teams to identify and resolve issues and implement new technologies to improve our systems
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Linux administration, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment;
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems, servers, and applications, as well as related technologies such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and SMTP;
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization technologies;
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl;
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies is a plus;
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems, servers, and applications;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networks;
- Monitor system performance, security, and capacity, and take proactive measures to optimize and improve as needed;
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls;
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions;
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new systems, software, and tools;
- Stay up-to-date with new Linux technologies and trends, and recommend improvements and enhancements;
- Private cloud – developing and configuring application installation systems, balancing workloads and monitoring systems;
- Write and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures;
